ABOUT ETHAN
FIREFIGHTER ETHAN VENZON
Ethan Venzon joined the Schaeferville Fire Protection District on November 1, 2021, and served until his End of Watch on August 24, 2026. During his time with the department, Ethan became part of the everyday life of Schaeferville — training with his fellow firefighters, taking part in community events, and answering the call to help others.
Those who knew Ethan remember his generous heart, his kindness, his sense of humor and the way he cared about the people around him. Service was a meaningful part of who he was, both inside and outside the firehouse.
The Memorial Training & Service Fund was created so that Ethan's impact can continue in a practical way: by helping current and future firefighters learn, train, teach and better serve their communities.

THE PURPOSE
A MEMORIAL BUILT AROUND SERVICE.
This fund is intended to be active, practical and forward-looking. Rather than simply preserving a name, it creates opportunities for future firefighters and first responders to learn, teach and become better prepared to serve.
As the program grows, this page will remain the home for fund priorities, supported projects, training opportunities and updates showing how community donations are being put to work.
